Accounting Internship

Employees in this job perform a variety of accounting functions under the supervision of the Operations Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ordering & inventorying food & beverage products, contacting and negotiating contracts, processing purchase orders, organizing bids, and all aspects of information requests.

Operations Internship

The Internship will include supporting the Operations Director with
individual projects including but not limited to: Orderm Inventory, Receive Food & Beverage Products, Cotact & Negotiate Contracts, Assist with Orientation, Training, Scheduling and Supervision of Food and Personnel Department.

Sales / Event Internship

The Internship program will include sales and special events duties. Projects may include, but are not limited to:

Contact corporate accounts, groups, teachers, and special event patrons selling discount ticket packages for the MN Renaissance Festival & Phantom’s Feast.

Prepare contracts, process reservations and bill customers for ticket orders and events.

Assist in wedding and special event planning.

Assist in coordinating services for events, such as catering, tickets and outside vendors and any other event requirements as needed.

Maintain records of events and ticket packages.

Experience and Education: Experience in hospitality, customer service and event planning a plus. Recent college graduate or current college student.

Hours: 40 hours May- August 2016. Must be available to work some weekends during the Renaissance Festival August 20-October 2. Additional evenings and weekend hours as required for events and other duties as necessary.

Additional hours are available in September and October for candidates who have graduated.

Pay: Hourly, OT after 48 hours
Attire: Workday casual in the office.
Salary: $9.50 /hour
